Proper service starts with a visit from your personal Home Care Manager, who will create a detailed profile of your home and take note of all your specific needs and preferences.
Your Home Care Manager will also conduct a service audit and develop a customized annual Plan of Care for your property which is updated annually. This plan includes the home and property services you have chosen and any special requests you may have. Our proprietary software allows us to keep accurate and up-to-date records of our work inside and outside your home.
It also enables us to provide you with an annual summary of the financial and maintenance history for all the services you have received. Proper will schedule the work outlined in your Plan of Care, and your Home Care Manager will meet with the service provider at your home as needed. We will also oversee projects to ensure they are completed correctly and on time.
Suppose you ever have emergency issues that require immediate attention. As a preferred customer in our network, you will receive prompt attention from the appropriate service
provider. Lastly, we will handle billing for all services our service provider partners perform. You only pay us once a month for all the services received – all of this at competitive prices from the best and fully insured local service providers around.
Please note that the membership fee does not include any work or services.
Proper warrants all work performed by subcontractors participating in our network against defects in materials and workmanship (excluding normal wear and tear, misuse, modifications, abuse or failure to maintain) for a period of one (1) year from the date of substantial completion of the work.
Our vendor partners are licensed and insured, with years of experience at what they do. A Proper partner is one who consistently performs high quality work and are experts in their field- from pest control to painters to master carpenters.
Each partner in our network has agreed to our performance standards and you’ll never have to worry about one of our partners smoking on your property or using foul language. Rest assured, our partners will be well-behaved and respectful to you and your property.
And with Proper, we make sure the work is correct every time; if it’s not, we’ll make it right. If a repair fails in the first year, we’ll repair it again for free.
It’s that simple.
The Membership Fee to belong to Proper is based on the size of the home and includes regular property checks, the management of all approved services, and the support of the office in record-keeping and consolidated billing; all services are a la carte at market rates from our network of verified vendor partners. For most, the cost savings realized covers the entire investment in Proper.
We vet, interview, train and hire each Home Care Manager. They’re experts in hospitality, construction, and home services, but are also experienced in project management.
